Oak Hill Goldens is located in Monmouth, Maine, a beautiful country town. We have 17 acres of land, so our puppies have plenty of room to run and play. With a lake nearby our Golden Retrievers have lots of walks and swims built into their routines. We fell in love with Golden Retrievers and became breeders after carefully researching and talking to other breeders. We believe that the Golden Retriever offers the best nature for a family dog; calm temperament, devoted, loving and obedient.

                            

Our puppies are born in a special birthing unit, set up in our kennel. We believe in a good nutritional start and (just as importantly) a good social start to the young puppies life. Our puppies are brought into our home and raised under foot with loads of love and attention. The puppies are accustomed to children - we have 3 wonderful children and 5 terrific grandchildren that love to visit to help socialize and play with our puppies, and we even include our cat "Miss Kitty" in the socialization process, so the pups are accustomed to other types of animals. Because of this early nurturing you can be assured that a puppy from us is healthy and happy.
